Just a quick note - I had the choice of two solo pieces - Harlem Nocturne or 'The Watermill' by Ronald Binge which would have been an oboe solo.

Looks like I made the right choice! The Watermill has some awkward altissimo F down to D slurs which I'm not comfortable with. I can get the alt D and the F easily enough as isolated notes and going up, but going from the F down to D isn't easy for me, though I'm sure it'll get better with practice and there's probably a much easier way around it.

Some interval practice needed.
