I know for a fact playing oboe tries my patience! Provided the reed works well, everything else falls into place.

Which is why I play sax - such an easy life, and only half the reed trouble as an oboist as it's only got the one reed. Have a laugh at this - it won me the best soloist (on alto sax) at this year's band festival:
