What is the best technique to end the note with a nice tone?

My teacher also mentioned articulation with the embouchure, and she is
having me practice a section of music that way instead of tonguing. I think she is wanting me to develop my embouchure with this routine....I don't remember her exact words on the subject. Also the recording of the lesson on my tape recorder isn't clear enough.
