Wow, did some browsing, there sure are lots of ear-training programs out there!
One site has a comparison review of many software or CD programs, seems helpful
Many programs seem to have more confusing options than necessary, for instance, do i really need to learn chord recognition for single note instrument? Do i really need all the options of multiple instrument choices just to learn the diff between A-flat and B-flat?!
some respectable looking software seems more complicated (and time consuming) just figuring out how to make it work (how can you tell i didn't cut my eye-teeth on computers?{:-)
already have a basic music writing program with playback, think i could make a beginning with that
