You are in an unusual position -- usually the affordability factor is a greater factor in such decisions. If there is a downside, it might be that you are not yet developed enough to really know which more advanced instrument really suits you the best in the longer term. On the other hand, if you acquired such an instrument, presumably with the guidance of your teacher (who could tell you if you had a lemon), the instrument would not hold you back they way an intermediate instrument might after a short while. Consider finding a used professional oboe (again, with a teacher's advice). The price outlay would likely make it more acceptable if you grow to prefer another model of instrument.
