I've also found that chromatic scales including the E-Eb-D-Db-C sequences, in both octaves, help a lot in strengthening the pinkies. But don't do too much concentrating on those sequences at one time or you'll possibly set yourself up for a repetitive motion stress injury (i.e. carpal tunnel or tennis elbow). I speak from experience. But a few passes up and down every day will help quite a bit.
