Errrrrrrrmmmmmmmmm, I know I should have been more vigilant about greasing the reed cork so it didn't get stuck, but now that it is stuck any ideas about getting it out again? A search on here came up with lots of suggestions for swabs, but I can't be the only one this has happened to. If I let the oboe cool down (just did an hours practice) will that make it better or worse? I don't know whether it is better to keep tugging at it now or to leave it well alone and try again later.
