Thanks for the reply. If it wasn't for you I would have probably bought a Fox. I'm just scared to buy a wood because I do a lot of traveling and being a university student, I'm worried that I might not have time pay as much attention to a wooden oboe as I should. It's a tricky matter since I still do want to be able to play with a wooden oboe.

I've been looking at mainly internet websites like www.wwbw.com for used oboes. Do you know of better places I could look at?

How do you feel about YOB 411?
