<<I find that if i pre-blow through my whole instrument with all keys closed (low Bb fingering) a couple of times and do a lot of long tones in the middle and low range before i start doing more complicated exercises, the 3rd and 2nd octave keys do not get stuck that easily!>>
second this general concept of warming up instrument first, it's prevention better than cure
first though, warm instrument against body before blowing into it
next, blow all the way out of the bell, all keys closed, no reed necessary, then play warmup routines in middle & lower register BEFORE opening any octave keys, and even the half hole is better kept shut until top joint is 'hot' enough
if water's gathering at the F vent, lower oboe still too cold
swobbing the first joint is possibly the next most important wrap-up procedure after safely putting away precious reed/s, i always separate and do first joint by itself right away with a completely dry silk, and check bore by holding it up to the light to see it's really dry before swobbing the other two sections
