A couple tings:
1) When you take the reed out of the case be careful to raise the tip before removing the reed.
2) If these are reeds you made, be sure to balance the sides. Or check for balance on reeds you buy.
To do this, soak the reed then look down into the opening while gently squeezing the heart area partially closed. The tip opening should close together on all 4 corners at the same rate. If not, the reed is not balanced in the tip. That will cause what appears to be a warp on one or more corners and in one or more directions.
In my reed making I almost always find I need to take a little more off the right sides of both blades to achieve balance. Some kind of habit or hand position has me leaving more cane on the right probably 50% of the time. I need do this well before final adjustments.
