Hi I'm new here to the oboe bboard but I'd like to ask a question about oboe reed problem I'm having.I've only been playing for a few years but many of my reeds' tips are getting a little bent usually upwards (whichever side I play on) does that mean my embouchure is wrong or because I play too long at a time so I'm getting tired and not having the correct embouchure I should have? And is this a common problem or not? Also many of my reeds gets chipped or frayed often.is that maybe caused my not always soaking the reed into the water before I play or just overplaying a reed in one sitting?
