I think I do put a little too much reed in my mouth and I font think I am tonguing too aggressively but I will try to do in lighter to see if that caused the problem. I do not hold my oboe close to my body usually 45 degrees. And yes I am talking about Dr. Hiramoto. I do think that are his reeds. And thank you for your responses. His tips do seem a bit thin.
