Hi,
I feel for your frustration!
I would talk to the machine maker.
The machine just might need an adjustment. If the cane is not gouged properly and the curve is off you will have lots of problems.
Then again - One size may not fit all needs.
I know when I bought my Marigaux I was not happy with my reeds and Dave Ross discussed with me - my reed style, tie length, staple, oboe characteristics etc ... and made a custom blade(s) for me.
