Hey Robert,
"narrower throat... wider belly" that makes me think it is less curvy and more angular.... a more distinct flare + rectangle where we do the scraping?

This is specifically what I like about the Kunibert Michel (German) shapers. I find, for short scrape, it helps with stability and maintain the same tone colour throughout the scale.
