I don't use that exact shape but one very similar (it might even be a touch wider). When I started using it, to keep the pitch up, I had to shorten the overall tip length. Also, try moving the lowest part of the reed scraped (near the staple, the bottom of back if that makes sense) up a millimeter or so. I could go more in depth to my setup (or post a reed picture or two) if you have any more questions about it.
From what I know about Robinson's playing, he makes shorter reeds (I think in the ballpark of 68mm total length) and actually does use some lip pressure to control them. Since you're using his shape, maybe some of that is carrying over into your reeds.
Also if you're not sure of the gouge, it's possible that the sides are too thin to support the wider shape.
