you might add a little 'range of motion' exercise if there's no clicking or popping in your jaw: before eating, slowly open your jaw to the furthest position you can without hurting, then 'circle' it in each direction before slowly closing it again. Try doing 3 repetitions of this at the beginning and end of each day. Or just before and after practicing. No clenching of the teeth or grinding (if you are at all stressed, these things can happen at night when you are asleep, so if you see the dentist he/she may have suggestions for you as well)!

PS I have intermittent jaw pain but it seldom affects my playing unless I am being a Naughty Girl and biting the reed to up the pitch.
