so true, all of this, but my god, you may scare any newbie off the field with this! Anyway, it makes me think of something my teacher once said when I was struggling as a beginner:
1. to become an oboist you really got to want to play the instrument!
2.and the more powerfull: The oboe is not an instrument you play for fun!

Over the years I have remembered these words and often thought, how true, how true!
