Hi Bobo,

Actually, I am not much of a fan of oboe concertos beyond the baroque period.

I realize that may sound pretty odd since oboe is my thing, but it just
never seems to carry the weight compared to piano and string concertos.

However, I absolutely love oboe in solo settings and especially things like what Paul McCandless does with it. Modern and jazzy things... One movement pieces, etc.

Still, De lancie did amazing things with Strauss, Ibert, .... the Flower Clock.

And the sonatas and trio sonatas again from the baroque period are wonderful.

I need to get the Ferillo Mozart 4-tet you mention. I only have it with Mack, and a few others...
