Set me off was just a mini-marketing campaign, to generate interest.
Despite the lack of physical evidence... I am confident you already know I enjoy your perspective and your postings.
Hmm, a downward curve... I get it , it makes sense. I may try that, but the outward curve is pretty easy to do and emulates the single reed thing.
I wonder about many things as well, such as placing other geometric shapes in the heart area. I already do sort of a diamond-shaped heart, and I wonder about other geodesic proportions in that part of the reed as well, perhaps coupled with a rounded or 'gem cut' tip shape of some sort.
I wonder about golden mean portions relative to total reed, cane part of reed, etc. Tip, heart and back cut into a golden mean...?
Overtones, Da Vinci, Fibinacci, there may be hidden treasures therein...
(Again, I do realize I have been snow bound too long.)
