Thank you both (and all others) for your help and support.

I will be working on my embouchure much this week. I still feel inconsistent in the low register, but I am happy with the upper register of this instrument. I need some work on intonation, but response has been my main concern so far, and intonation seems good considering I haven't spent as much time with it as I should. I am finally confident playing this horn after having it in it's case, and don't need as long a warmup. This is such a necessary skill for theatre musicians.

The reeds are my own. Chudnow CA nickel staple, Joshua +2 shape with Gonalez cane.
