Well, the "milkshake analogy" wasn't original with me -- I don't remember for certain where I heard it first. Possibly from my teacher. But it's good, because you know you've got to put some firmness into the lips if you are trying to suck a heavy milkshake up through a straw, but you've still got to keep the straw open. It almost gives me brain freeze to talk about it!
