Author: 19kay95  Date:   2009-11-23 22:32 Well actually I have played on a normal reed untill this year and I am just trying it out. I have always sounded like a duck and I almost have to use the synthetic reeds because the normal reeds break to easily. I am very careful but our band room is too small for the band (my personal opinion) so we are very close together. I once cut my hand because someone hit my hand while I was putting the reed into the oboe. But thank you for the online sites!
