Breathing

I'm finding the breathing difficult. I am a brass player, so am perhaps used to breathing in when my lungs are almost empty, so I'm perhaps finding it strange to be taking breaths with half full lungs. I have to breath out, in again and then sort out my embrouchure, which takes up far too much time.
Any tips? or should I not worry about this yet as there's so much else to concentrate on and otherwise I feel I'm making steady progress.
