Peter Hurd's website opinions seem to place Bulgheroni, Fossati, Patricola in that order of preference
my full conservatory Bulgheroni "orchestra" model (there's an "opera" model too) is a real pleasure to play, handles very comfortably, has done very well so far without slipping out of adjustment for 6 months, although i'm now discovering it sounds a lot warmer, fuller & creamier ("italian sound") very easily when tuner's calibrated at A-435, whereas i find it quite difficult to achieve similar tonality at A-440, so that translates to this particular oboe sounds better when it's flat and played by yours truly,
dunno why that is -- the factory and testing level is about 900 ft above sea level and oboe is now relocated about 600 ft above sea-level? -- however, this player and reeds are still evolving ...
