... and you already tried boosting and focusing your blowing pressure?
Here in west coast marine climate (damp, grey, wet, low air pressure) have to pretend like it's sunny and bright inside your inner space and project high vitality down the pipe
... just think of it as extra aerobic exercise to firm those abs
... maybe don't pre-soak your regular reed, just moisten it in your mouth
....or use a harder reed well-soaked and pliable (now it's easier to blow in wet weather and it'll hold up longer when wet)
... pre-warm your house 3-5 degrees more than usual to reduce indoor humidity before playing
... make sure your instrument is body temperature before playing
... stay off comfort foods and chocolate during miserable weather, change your internal electrolyte balance to boost your vitality (more high potassium veggie chowders, fresh fruit, juicer blends)
... and what's wrong with playing the blues when the feeling's right?
Global feeling is understandably blue just now ...
