I think you will find that if you talk to flute players they will tell you that on certain days playing is easier than other days. I am sure you would hear the same lamentations from just about every wind and brass player.

However, I feel that their problems don't even compare with what oboe players go through daily. Often it feels like someone stole their way into your house in the middle of the night and replaced all of your reeds and took your oboe and decided to exchange it for something else.
Take heart, every oboe player goes through it.

How does that saying go...this too shall pass.
