Well, for me it's not a hypothetical "if I was going to" question. I always start with the tip. I don't see much point in scraping windows until the tip is mostly finished. If I were to scrape the windows too early, I wouldn't know how deeply to scrape them. Since the tip is infinitely more important, I want to make a good tip and then scrape the windows to work with that tip, rather than putting in windows and then scraping the tip to accommodate the likely overscraped windows.
