Crazy Mike ... interested and a bit relieved to note that my uneasy hunch re silver tubes has been confirmed by somebody with actual experience with them ... sorry my earlier post was snooty in weird attempt to discourage you from financial faux pas ... often don't know how to say things of that nature in a people-pleasing manner ... good luck with your reed-making and your orchestral playing ... what are you rehearsing at the mo?
