Why don't you ask your teacher what he or she recommends?
For what it's worth, the last time I ordered Glotin tubes (46mm nickel-silver) they seemed to be very inconsistent. The top (narrow portion) of the tubes were misshapen and appeared stretched and too big for the top of my mandrel which is a Loree mandrel. Of course it could have been that these were the worst of a large batch of tubes that had been picked over by some other oboist.
I currently use Mark Chudnow's tubes (type CA, nickel silver with cork rather than metal with O-rings), after about 15 years of using Glotin tubes exclusively. His catalog number is "sta01" at http://www.mcwoboe.com/. I've found them to be very consistent although I think in general they are very slightly flatter in the upper register than Glotin tubes, which (I think) is due to their being slightly smaller at the bottom (large end) than Glotin tubes. They fit my mandrel as well as Glotin and Loree tubes. But if you're not doing a side-by-side comparison it shouldn't be a problem and it's easy to make reeds that are up to pitch on either maker's tubes.
Another idea is to order a some of tubes of different manufacturers and find out what fits your mandrel most consistently and then return the others.
