I play on a Yamaha custom 841 oboe. I also play in an orchestra. The silver staples are a recomendation by my teacher. And I know it sucks that there aren't any good shops for oboe stuff in canada. The only one i know of is http://www.garyarmstrong.com but he doesn't seem to have much or a selection. So it's down to the US i go. I've already been told what mandrel I should get (the Glotin one) I just need to find out if anyone knows what staples fit it well.
