Is there such a thing as monoboetheism? Or is there an oboist pantheon? Or maybe the oboe itself is the vehicle of divine revelation, channeled through a chosen oboist favored by a fickle God (therefore the whole fickle reed thing)? Anyway, your story of an Israeli oboist who found God in the Easter music of a Lutheran composer of the 18th century is a good one! Guess there's only One after all! Btw, i thought Bruce Weinstein was principal of the IPO?
