thanks for the information. The two typical treatments are usually splint therapy and botox. Maybe he's tried either one of these options. It's great to see that he's still playing very well and entertaining his fans.
As regards that exclamation mark, I wish I could take credit for such guile, cross-referencing over to Chris P's earlier thread, but no such luck. It denoted surprise and curiosity only. As for implying he could be God, that surely could not be. It has already been established in an earlier thread that Holliger holds that distinction. And there is only one God!, (well, at least in the western world). Perhaps, Mr Klein is one of the Archangels! Curiously, when I was a student in Germany, studying with Thomas Indermuhle, one of my fellow oboe students, Dudu Carmel, an Israeli, and now principal oboe of the Israel Philharmonic, said he knew God existed, though in the guise of JS Bach, because he had written the haunting oboe solo from the easter oratorio. We were listening to it at the exact same moment on cd, and who should be playing it but Heinz Holliger! Co-incidence? You tell me. lol! James
