oh, thanks, that's helpful, explaining about adding bars between Rehearsal Letters, i've got a couple of Letter-Numbers marked, wasn't quite sure what that meant
omigosh, pity the poor orchestra librarian/s if asked to put in numbers at beginning of each line for every instrument, especially the multiples in string section!

What do i do in these two instances?
Bar numbers with 1st, 2nd repeats and DS al Fine into *1st* Repeat --
Usually bars up to the end of 1st repeat continue counting on in 2nd repeat, but here's where i'm a bit confused ...
do the bar numbers pickup the last number used in Fine ending in 1st Repeat or previously used 2nd ending to move on to next strain?
One of my pieces has a short chorale Finale and a much longer orchestra Coda. We're only using the Coda, but how do the bar count with these two options? It's not like a first and second ending, but instead these are optional endings ... since they're both printed on same paper, there must be a bar number protocol for this situation?
