... i'm finding it's the practice of minor keys in 3 forms, natural, harmonic and melodic versions, in fewer flats and sharps, for example Fm and C#m, these help a lot leading up to the sequencing of those extra notes in DbM and GbM, just getting finger patterns established around raised and lowered 6ths and 7ths is a real challenge
after a while at this it does seem to me there are quite a few similar finger combinations, just written differently, and once the most awkward muscle-memory patterns are worked out in various majors and especially the minors, it doesn't seem to matter what key signature those similar finger-move patterns are written in
