While I was in the US recently I heard the BWV 1053 on the car radio (on the classical station in the Portsmouth VA area) played on oboe instead of d'amore.

But I didn't catch who the player was.

And as I've just bought myself a d'amore, I can play this concerto as it was arranged without the pianist transposing it!
