... interesting problem, it might be easily fixable if maybe due to lack of adequate REM sleep (chronic deep sleep deprivation) -- lack of sleep seriously interferes with fine muscle co-ordination -- sleep and rest are vital for tip-top playing skills
it might also be fixable if you're not eating a well-balanced diet, finding and adjusting personal 'zone' is an ongoing thing with age as metabolism slows down inexorably, but a booster nutrition regime might refresh your biochemistry and voila, nerve-muscle electrolytes chemically interact more effectively
Or, are you majorly stressed in lifestyle / personal problems more than usual? Schedule dedicated alpha meditation & rest time, counsellor if necessary to help with that
Or, have you had a medical checkup lately, are you experiencing other neurological or physical symptoms that might be interfering with nerve-muscle transmission? I do hope not.
Or, it might be something that a chiropractor could help you with, it's totally amazing how a series of spinal adjustments can 'fix' neuro-physical co-ordination problems, poor A-C co-ordination suggests a neck-shoulder-upper back misalignment (because in generalized laymanese, nerves of thumb & first two digits are wired on the major nerve trunk-line serviced by the neck/upper back nerve sub-station)
Hope these help for starters?
