I really really really want a resin oboe.. But because if I ordered one.. I can't send it back if I don't like it, and they would only bring one into the country.. I am not sure it is safe to buy.. Otherwise I would.

I don't know if it would be free blowing enough, or too heavy.

But I really want resin!

I played the Howarth... And liked it.. Except it is not resin!!

Otherwise I would get the Howarth.. It is the safest bet. I can try a heap of them, and send back the ones I don't want...

Part of me says buy the Howarth.. And hope it won't crack. The other part of me knows I want resin!!!!

I am going to try the Armstrong ward oboe before I give up on the idea of resin though!

The idea of flying to the states just to buy an oboe is super tempting however! !
