I use a hollow ground and a wedge knife, and one that is a 'double wedge', not concave like a hollow ground but beveled on both sides, so that the end-on view looks triangular. That (the 'double wedge') is my preferred knife but the other two have their uses too.
They vary in quality and the harder (heavier) ones are my preference.
I can't afford the really pricey knives, the double wedge is from Mark Chudnow and IF I'm religious about sharpening them during the reed-making process, they all serve me well.
