I find it very interesting, in reference to your "style" preference, that a number of years ago, Mr. Still conducted Master classes in Scandinavia. I would imagine that some of what he said, rubbed off on some of the players. teachers, and students, at that time. Apparently, there were other American players over there at the time, possibly also giving Master classes. He showed me a photo of the woodwind quintet that he was in, while there. The other players in the quintet, as best as I can remember, were Julius Baker, Anthony Gigliotti, Leonard Sharrow, and John Ciminaro. I sure would have wanted to hear that group! Regards.
