I don't think Loree's are made for American scrape reeds, just primarily for the American market. I bet if you go to the finishing area at Loree you will find French scrape reeds being used to finish the oboes.
I know for a fact, Lorees are play tested on reeds made by well-known American reedmakers. So this is statement is inaccurate.
