time is also a big issue for me. I ussually start (soak and tie) a reed a day, while finishing all the others (to the extent that i can) as much as possible. I really want to get into a good playing/reed making schedule. I've recentenly taken a break from it because of wisdom teeth and have had a hard time getting back into it.
For the humor of it, and because it's summer, I think I'm going to try all of these methods and record the results with differnt kinds of cane. (this probably won't be competely accurate because the cane (and my scraping) aren't constant variables)
by the end of the summer (or so) I'll try and post my results.
Wish me luck!
