Start with a class like Physics for non-science majors. The Univ. of S. Alabama had one. My art major roommate took it and did fairly well (she got a lot of tutoring from me though. I was an electrical engineering major). The class did NOT require multivariable calculus. Whereas ALL of my physics classes required calculus and/or differential equations.
