I can't imagine why you wont have time to play in the schools orchestra.
Take my case for example
I am currently a sophomore at the University of Delaware triple majoring in international business, business management and German. I am taking 18 credits this semester on top of playing in my university's orchestra and the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra. I still have time for lessons and reed making (approx. 10-15 reeds a week).
I am constantly busy and I have no life, but, alas, I am still alive and doing quite well.
