I would suggest the University of Delaware. I am currently a business major and I am playing in the Wind ensemble and both orchestras, so there is a lot of playing opportunity. The University has 2 bands and 2 orchestras. We are still a small program but we are getting bigger. Next year we will need new oboists since we are losing 3 grad students. The oboe prof is really good about fighting to get non majors scholarships. Besides the music program UD is a nationally ranked university, so there is some academic incentive to go to UD!
