Hiya
Adult learner here too, Live in Bathgate, West Lothian. I've been playing for the last 4 years. I tried a yamaha and didnt like it. I played flute beofre and yamaha flutes are great. I bought a Buffet and its beeen great. There are a few amateur oboists around ut not many. I've found the K Ge reeds from Howarths to be the best but in the ned try try try to see what suits you and your insrtument.
