The amount of abdominal support is vital for playing in tune but your embouchure will also effect tuning.

If you're playing flat it may well be because your oboe is not resting firmly enough against your bottom lip. If you're playing sharp, the chances are that you are biting down with your top lip.robinsky wrote:
