Looking back over old threads to find where I posted about my oboe-buying saga was very enlightening to me. Where has the time gone?!?!? I still think of myself as a "new" oboist, and I think of my Covey Classic as my "new" oboe -- but it looks like I have been playing oboe for five years now, and have had the Covey for four of those years!
