HAHAHA! I might even change my screen name to Rat Boy.
I wouldn't dwell too much on the low Bb being flat - it's just the nature of the beast with no bell vent. Besides, you rarely get low Bb cropping up in orchestral pieces, though there's plenty of pp low C#/Dbs!
