I've tried several tuners and find the $20 Korg A1 excellent. It has a self calibrating button also and can be adjusted from about 435 to 448 or so. The needle indicator is easy to read and not so supersensitive. I also use a new gadget called a Ruzette that clips to the edge of your music stand. A Velcro patch holds your tuner right there where it is very easy to see . ( It also acts as a stand to hold the tuner at an angle easy to see when working at your reed desk. ) Being directly in front of you on the stand helps you to blow straight into the tuner's mike when giving the A for orchestra.
