I tried your fingerings, here's what I got: Your Eb fingering gave me an E - to get the Eb I release the G sharp key. Your E fingering gave me a note between E and F depending on how I blow it. Your F through G worked fine. I think these are primarily alternate fingerings and that the conservatoire fingerings are more reliable/stable - however, the alt fingerings are absolutely necessary to have for many passages. I think the alt fingerings are somewhat idiosyncratic to the oboe itself...i futz around and find my own many times depending on the needs of the passage.
